I don't know why I decided to restart the blog but I am really looking forward to what I discover.

Another day...

Woke up...fought getting out of bed... I use to live to work but these last few years, I have learned to appreciate my weekends.  I love getting to relax and enjoy my time.  I love taking Jamie to the dog park and watch her run herself tired.   I look forward to seeing my dad and Celeste, I know I am lucky to have the family that I have.

So Much for keeping up....

In December 2007, I was sure I had so many wonderful things to look forward to... who knew that less than 3 weeks later I would suffer such an incredible loss... My sweet brother Jamie decided he had enough and left this world...  It felt like my entire world shifted on its axis and I would never again be able to stand up...  And here we are- nearly 5 years later and I am standing up. Doesn't mean that my life will ever be the same and that I don't think about and miss my brother every day.  He was such a huge part of my life and I never thought the hole he left would ever heal...

I can say now with confidence that my heart is healing and I know that Jamie is in a better place.  I have traveled to Europe twice... once with my sister and dad.  The second trip was with my friend Colleen.  Both trips were amazing and am so glad that I was able to get out and travel.  I recently got to Hawaii for Christmas.

I have been blessed with an amazing dog- my brother Michael- had puppies and he named the runt Jamie.  She is 80 lbs of serious love!!!  I miss her when I leave for a day.  I love her cuddles.
